Position Scope:
Coordinate and lead the implementation of a new, LMS (Land Management System)

Required Skills:
7+ years of experience as Project Manager
Proven Land Management implementation or Permitting/Inspections system experience
Strong technical understanding of infrastructure and technologies including:  Data Centres/server technology, Application Development & SDLC,  SAN, Networks
Experience with a variety of Project Management methodologies

Project Management certification such as PMP or ITIL
Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science or related discipline
Previous government sector or non-profit experience strongly preferred
Experience with one or more of the following applications is highly desired:  Accella, Infor, CSDC, Computronix, EnerGov, CRW

Location:  This position is located downtown Chicago within a non-profit organization

Duration:  1 week

Start Date: approx. mid-end of May 2012

Position Tasks:

·         Prepare course agendas and outlines

·         Plan and schedule training facilities, materials and equipment

·         Conduct training sessions for both individuals and groups

·         Conduct train-the-trainer sessions

·         Identify opportunities for improvement

·         Additional duties, as assigned.

Required Skills:

·         Minimum of seven (5) years development experience using Crystal Reports

·         Minimum of One (1) year of training experience teaching individuals and/or groups applications/software/business systems, preferably with Crystal Reports.

·         Knowledgeable in various educational methodologies

·         Knowledgeable in multiple training delivery methods, including but not limited to: individual, classroom, web-based and Computer Based Training (CBT).

·         Ability to determine and review training requirements and its intended audience to discover the best training methodology along with the most effective delivery method


Location: Chicago, IL
Required travel may be up to 50% after 6 months Position Duration: Contract-to-Hire


• Responsible for assisting in all phases of conversions, upgrades and implementations for various Blackbaud projects with non-profit clientele

• Coordinate with IS to include: development, training, and monitoring the project roadmap, from discovery through delivery, while communicating progress to key stakeholders

• Serve as a liaison to various internal and external customers

Required Skills:

• 3-5+ years experience in applications software Project Management and/or support required

• Must have proven experience managing Blackbaud products

• In depth knowledge of financial methodologies such as ROI, operational costing, fundraising, donor management, and event planning

• Ability to communicate effectively with end users and technology staff

• Ability to manage multiple high-priority projects and routine daily maintenance needs with a high degree of efficiency

• Solid strategic, analytical, communication and organizational skills

• PMI Certification or similar is preferred


• BS Business Information Systems, Communications, or equivalent is highly preferred
